Situated between beautiful rivers and valleys on the east coast of New Brunswick, Miramichi residents know how to come together as a community to celebrate. No one who visits Miramichi ever forgets it. It’s a small town full of friendly people who love to have a good time. Miramichi is home to one of the country’s biggest cultural festivals, Canada’s Irish Festival, featuring live music inspired by the Emerald Isle. Tragedy struck the city when their local 70-year-old theatre was lost to a fire in 2020.

The Vogue Theatre was an arts and cultural hub for the community and a place where live music was regularly celebrated. The outpouring of love and support given to the theatre’s owner and patrons was a testament to community pride that Miramichi values most.
