SiriusXM Music Town is presented by SiriusXM Canada. SiriusXM Canada is the business name of Sirius XM Canada Inc. Whenever we refer to SiriusXM Canada, ‘we,’ ‘our,’ ‘us,’ ‘xmradio.ca,’ ‘sirius.ca,’ or ‘siriusxm.ca’ in these Official Contest Rules (the “Rules”) we are referring to Sirius XM Canada Inc.
SiriusXM’s Music Town contest (the “Contest”) will be run in accordance with these Rules, subject to applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. The Rules are subject to change without notice in order to comply with any federal, provincial and municipal laws, as applicable. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Rules or the rights and obligations as between any of the Entrants, Finalists, and Winners (as these terms are defined below) and SiriusXM Canada shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario, including procedural provisions, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws.

Note: We may periodically amend the Rules at our discretion, so you should revisit this page from time to time.
1. What is SiriusXM Music Town?
Big name acts often only tour the biggest cities, but this summer, SiriusXM is bringing big sounds to towns across Canada. Four lucky towns (one town per region: West (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba), Central (Ontario), Quebec, and East (Nova Scotia, PEI, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland and Labrador) will win a concert experience in their community, headlined by one of four amazing Canadian artists – plus local artist(s) featured as opening act(s).
2. Competition Period and Phases
The Competition consists of four (4) phases (each, a “Phase”) as set forth in the table below.

3. How to Enter and/Or Participate
3.1 Submit a Registration to the Contests
No purchase necessary.
Starting at 10:00 a.m. ET on May 25, 2022, until Registration Closing 11:59 p.m. ET on June 12, 2022 (the “Nomination Period”), entrants may register as described below (a “Registration”). Registrations that are incomplete will not be accepted. No responsibility is assumed for incorrect or inaccurate information contained in the Registration associated with or used in this Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries to this Contest. SiriusXM Canada shall not be responsible for lost, late, mutilated, illegible, or misdirected entries. SiriusXM Canada is not responsible for typographical errors in the Registration or the Rules and/or the selection of or the announcement of the Finalists or Winners. SiriusXM Canada reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, delay, or suspend the Contest at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to technical or creative difficulties, pandemic, or any other force majeure event. Registrations that have been tampered with or altered are void.
For your community to be eligible to compete in the Contests, there must be a minimum of one (1) Registration submitted. Providing an answer to EACH ONE of the following questions along with the required details constitutes a valid registration (collectively, “Registration”):

Registrations must comply with the Registration guidelines set out in Section 5 (the “Registration Guidelines”). Each Registration will be scored based on the judging criteria in Section 7.
3.2 Entry
By submitting a Registration and therefore entering this Contest, you are entering for a chance for your nominated community to win a prize as defined in Section 8. Only a valid Registration constitutes an entry in the Contest. Optional content, shares, or reactions contribute to rally points only, as described below. You may choose to submit a written Registration or participate by way of other Action as defined herein, or with both. A community requires a minimum of one (1) Registration to be completed in order to be considered for the Judging Phase.
3.3 The Contest will proceed as follows:
- Communities may be registered as described directly below;
- Sixteen (16) communities will be selected as Finalists for a Canada-wide public vote, as outlined in these Rules;
- Four (4) communities will be selected as the Winners, as outlined in these Rules.
You may register during the Contest Period:
Online, by going to musictown.siriusxm.ca and filling out the registration form in its entirety. To enter this Contest online, your computer must accept cookies or any successor or similar technology which may be used by SiriusXM Canada for the purpose of tracking entries to this Contest. By Registering your community, you agree to be bound by these Rules and our website Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
3.4 Finalist point system
The public can support their top town and earn points by voting and additional rally points through social media actions.
3.5 Summary of Rally Points
Each vote and each social media action (as described below) count as one (1) point respectively towards your town.
- Each unique IP address may vote once per day, with each vote worth 1 point.
- Sharing pre-populated Tweets/Facebook posts on social media encouraging others to vote are also worth 1 point.
- Posts published from private accounts may not be counted towards the rally point total.
- Sharing original video or photo content on Instagram/Facebook/TikTok/Twitter, either in-feed or Stories, with the “#SXMMusicTown” hashtag will also be worth 1 point. Rally point content must also include mention (either verbal or text) of the location for which you are nominating. Such posts could include:
- The perfect venue in your home for the SiriusXM Music Town concert
- A local business that the featured artists should visit while they are in town
- Video of local artists performing
- People from your town performing a song by your regions headlining act
- Any additional content that makes a case for your town
4. Entry and Action Verification and Conditions
All Registrations and other Actions are subject to verification. Proof of Registration does not constitute proof of receipt. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of an entrant, Registrations and Actions will be declared by the name on the entry form. An individual may be required to provide proof that he/she is the individual associated with the Registration and/or Action. If any individuals other than yourself are named or appear in the Registration or in Action, you must have the permission of the individuals (or of parent/legal guardian if a minor) to use their name and/or photograph/likeness. Proof of such permission may be required at SiriusXM Canada’s discretion. Submitting any Registration and/or any optional Action constitutes your (and, if an eligible minor, your parent’s or legal guardian’s) acceptance to these Official Rules and consent to grant the Licensed Parties (as defined below) certain rights in and to the Registration and/or Action, as described in Section 14 below. Registration and/or Action must be made in your name only, regardless of whether others contributed to or appear in the Registration and/or Action. Any attempt by an individual to obtain more than the stated maximum number of Registrations and/or Actions by using multiple/different names, email addresses, accounts, identities, registrations and logins, or any other, or entry or participation in any fashion not sanctioned by these Official Rules will void that individual’s Registration and such individual will be disqualified from the Contests and, at the sole discretion of the SiriusXM Canada, any of the SiriusXM Canada’s other promotions. Registrations and/or Actions that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible or corrupted are void and will not be accepted. Registrations and/or Actions that are found to be copies of other Registrations and/or Actions (excluding pre-populated tweets and reaction emojis) previously entered in the Contests or to contain content plagiarized from other websites and/or publications will be void and will result in the entrant’s disqualification.
5. Registration and Action Guidelines
Each Registration and/or Action (i.e., social post) submitted must meet the following criteria, as applicable:
Registration
- Be original;
- The answer to each of the questions for the Registration must have a minimum of one hundred fifty (150) characters (including spaces) and must not exceed one thousand (1,000) characters (including spaces); and
- The answer to each question for the Registration must be in English or French.
Action
- Be original;
- Posted online and shared through a public account;
- Use relevant hashtags (#SXMMusicTown)
Registration and any optional Action must not: (a) be sexually explicit or suggestive, violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, sexual orientation, professional or age group, profane or pornographic, contain or reference nudity or any materially-dangerous activity; (b) promote alcohol, drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or any particular political or religious agenda or message; (c) be obscene or offensive, or endorse any form of hate or hate group; (d) contain or reference trademarks, logos or trade dress owned by others, or advertise or promote any brand or product of any kind, without permission, to the extent permission is necessary, or contain any personal identification, such as license plate numbers, personal names, email addresses or street addresses; (e) contain copyrighted materials owned by others, without permission, to the extent permission is necessary; (f) contain materials embodying the names, likenesses, or other indicia identifying any person, living or dead, without permission; and (g) be false or misleading. Notwithstanding the foregoing, SiriusXM Canada reserves the right to permit, in its sole discretion, Registrations and any optional Action containing non-infringing and incidental use of trademarks owned by others.
By entering a Registration and/or Action, you warrant and represent that: (a) it has not been previously published; (b) it has not received previous awards or been entered into other contests; (c) it does not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity; (d) other participants depicted in the Registration and/or Action, if any, have given written consent to its entry into the Contests and use as contemplated by these Official Rules; (e) publication via various media including Web posting and posting in social media, will not infringe on the rights of any third party; (f) it is appropriate for the Contests and all ages, in “good taste”, in keeping with SiriusXM Canada’s image and suitable for publication (e.g. must not be obscene or indecent), as determined by SiriusXM Canada in its sole and absolute discretion; (g) it does not contain any commercial content that promotes any product or service other than those offered by SiriusXM Canada; and (h) you have waived all moral rights in and to the Registration and/or Action in favour of the SiriusXM Canada. Without limiting any of the foregoing, Registrations and any Action cannot be a parody or derogatory. Entrant will indemnify and hold harmless Released Parties (as defined below) from any claims to the contrary. Any Registration and/or Action that, in the sole opinion of SiriusXM Canada, is deemed to be inappropriate for publication or inclusion in the Contests for any reason will be disqualified from the Contest.
6. Security
If you are entering the Contest via the Internet, you may only enter this Contest if your browser permits connection to a secure, industry-standard SSL-enabled server. SiriusXM Canada assumes no responsibility for tampering, theft, defects, human errors including extreme negligence, deletions, technical or telephone problems, undeliverable messages, computer errors, lost, misdirected, late or incomplete entries or for any online difficulties that may result in the failure to consider an Entrant for any of the prizes offered. Further, SiriusXM Canada reserves the right to modify or cancel this Contest without prior notice and is not responsible for production or printing errors, technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions including lost, misappropriated or corrupted entries, virus damage or any other damage which may limit an Entrant’s ability to participate in the Contest. SiriusXM Canada is not responsible for any entries that are incomplete, lost, misdirected or destroyed.

Finalist Selection Phase
During the Finalist Selection Phase, all eligible Registrations for each Division will be judged by a panel of SiriusXM Canada representatives (the “Judging Panel”) based on the following judging criteria:
- Depiction of the nominated community’s spirit and passion for music;
- Description of how the Concert would positively impact the community;
- Assessment of the town’s suitability for a concert.
SiriusXM Canada reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to select less than the stated number of Finalists in the event that SiriusXM Canada does not receive a sufficient number of eligible Registrations. Decisions of the SiriusXM Canada and Judging Panel are final and binding in all matters. SiriusXM Canada will not disclose judging scores. Each of the sixteen (16) Finalists must correspond to a different Community, so that no one Community will occupy more than one Finalist position.
Voting & Rallying Phase
Once announced, the sixteen (16) Finalists will be posted on the Website and then open for public vote during the Voting & Rallying Phase. During the Voting & Rallying Phase, individuals who meet the eligibility criteria hereunder can vote for their favourite town by visiting the Website and following the links and instructions to vote AND earn their town additional points through the social media engagement as outlined in Section 3.
The total Voting and Rally score, with voting and social engagement tabulated in accordance with Section 3, will account for 30% of each finalist’s overall score, with the remaining 70% determined by the judging panel as outlined in Section 7 (Finalist Selection Phase). The Finalists from each region with the highest total score will be deemed the “Winners,” subject to final determination of SiriusXM Canada. In the event of a tie, tied entries will be rejudged by the Judging Panel against the above judging criteria to select the Winners. Voting is limited to once per day per person and subject to verification at any time. Only votes casts through the Website are valid. Any attempt by any individual to vote by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void those votes and that individual may be banned from voting. No person may vote by proxy for any other person. Use of any automated system to vote or subvert the voting process is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all associated votes will be void. Votes generated by script, macro or other automated means or any other means intended to impact the integrity of the voting process, as determined by the SiriusXM Canada in its sole discretion, may be void. Votes obtained by any fraudulent or inappropriate means, including, without limitation, offering prizes or other inducements to members of the public, payment for votes or offering to trade votes, as determined by SiriusXM Canada, in its sole discretion, may result in those votes being void and the respective Finalist being disqualified. SiriusXM Canada will not disclose final vote numbers.
SiriusXM Canada is not responsible for any tampering, interference, or fraud of any kind, including but not limited to Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, server or system hacks, or votebot programs that influence or otherwise affect the results of the Contest. IF AN ENTRANT IS FOUND TO HAVE ENGAGED IN OR SOLICITED TAMPERING, INTERFERENCE, OR FRAUD OF ANY KIND AS OUTLINED ABOVE, SIRIUSXM CANADA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO i) DISQUALIFY THE ENTRANT, ii) CLAIM REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE FULL VALUE OF ALL PRIZES AND DISBURSEMENTS PAID TO THE ENTRANT, iii) CLAIM REIMBURSEMENT FOR ANY EXPENSES INCURRED TO DIAGNOSE AND REPAIR ANY SIRIUSXM CANADA COMPUTING EQUIPMENT OR THE NETWORK, AND/OR iv) IF THE CONTEST IS CANCELLED, MODIFIED, TERMINATED, DELAYED, OR SUSPENDED DUE TO THE ENTRANT’S ACTIONS, CLAIM DAMAGES TO THE FULL AMOUNT OF SIRIUSXM CANADA’S INVESTMENT IN THE CONTEST.
8. Prizes
The following prizes are available to be won:
Four (4) Grand Prizes: Grand Prize package includes:
- The opportunity to host a concert (the “Concert”) that will be played in the Grand Prize winning community on a date to be chosen by SiriusXM Canada in their sole and absolute discretion.
The Concert and any or all related components may be suspended, cancelled or postponed, as determined by SiriusXM Canada in their sole and absolute discretion. SiriusXM Canada will determine in their sole discretion if the entrant / winning community satisfies the requirements hereunder, if the Concert can be played at a local venue, and if the appropriate authorizations and venue information can be obtained from the community. If the venue is privately owned, it must be open to the public for the Concert. The venue, and all third parties, including any local community organizing committees, are prohibited from using, selling, bartering, trading and/or auctioning tickets to the Concert (and any related event) for any promotional, prizing or commercial purposes. SiriusXM Canada shall have the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to determine whether any use of such tickets is noncompliant with these Official Rules.
Prize Substitution and Conditions
The Prizes AWARDED must be accepted as-is and cannot be transferred, assigned or substituted.
Entry and participation in this Contest constitutes each Entrant’s agreement to sign such additional documentation, including releases, as may be required if chosen as the Winner. Non-compliance with any requirement in connection with this Contest will result in automatic disqualification. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE RULES OR ANY BEHAVIOUR ON THE PART OF THE WINNER THAT WILL BRING SUCH WINNER OR SIRIUSXM CANADA INTO DISREPUTE WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS THE WINNER. SIRIUSXM RETAINS SOLE DISCRETION TO DECIDE WHAT CONSTITUTES DISREPUTABLE BEHAVIOUR. ANY EXERCISE OF SIRIUSXM’S DISCRETION IS FINAL AND ABSOLUTE. DISQUALIFICATION WILL IMMEDIATELY TERMINATE ALL PRIVILEGES AND REVOKE ALL AWARDS ASSOCIATED WITH THE GRAND PRIZE.
SiriusXM Canada reserves the right in its sole and unequivocal discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering, or has tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Contest; to be acting in violation of these Rules; OR to be acting in a disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
By acceptance of these Rules, the Winner agrees that SiriusXM Canada and its employees shall have no liability in connection with acceptance, receipt, or use of the prizes awarded herein or in connection with any preparation for, participation in, or travel to any Contest-related activity, unless otherwise provided herein.
9. Odds
Odds of winning depend on number of eligible Registration entries received, judging criteria and number of votes received.
10. Contests and Prize Release
By participating in the Contest and accepting prizes (if applicable), entrants agree to release and hold Released Parties harmless against any and all claims, injuries, damages, loss and/or liability to person or property, due in whole or in part, whether directly or indirectly, by (a) arising out of participation in the Contest, including any Contest-related activity, (b) acceptance, use, misuse, possession or redemption of a prize (if applicable), and (c) claims based on personality, privacy rights or defamation and infringement of intellectual property rights.
If an entrant and selected town win a prize and accept the prize, such acceptance shall mean full satisfaction of the entitlement as an entrant and winner in the Contest and the entrant fully discharges and forever releases the Released Parties, of and from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, actions or causes of action whatsoever, whether known or unknown, whether at law or in equity which they or their heirs, executors, administrators, successors or assigns may now or hereafter have against any of the Released Parties in connection with the prize.
All entrants also acknowledge, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, that the Released Parties will not be responsible for any injury, accident, death or dismemberment, or any other loss, damage or expense in connection with participation in the Contests and/or the prize. The entrant also acknowledges that none of the Released Parties has offered any warranty or guarantee respecting the prizes.
11. Compliance with Rules/Release of Liability
In order to win a prize, the Winner may be required to sign a Declaration of Compliance with the Rules and a Release of Liability (collectively the “Declaration and Release Documents”), releasing SiriusXM Canada, its advertising and promotional agencies, the prize suppliers, parents, subsidiaries, member clubs, affiliates, representatives and agents of the foregoing and all of their respective directors, officers, owners, governors, partners, employees, consultants, agents, representatives, their successors and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any liability in connection with participation in this Contest or the prizes, including any travel related liability.
In awarding prizes, the decision of SiriusXM Canada is final. By accepting a prize, the Winner agrees to their name and/or photo and/or likeness being used by SiriusXM Canada without notice or compensation for publicity purposes.
In the event a Winner is unable to redeem any or all of the prize components for reasons beyond the control of SiriusXM Canada and the prize suppliers, no compensation or substitutions will be provided. If a Winner fails to provide proof of identity, refuses to sign and return the Declaration and Release Documents, or is found to have violated the rules of the Contest or otherwise does not meet all Contest conditions, the Winner will not be selected as the Winner and will be deemed to have forfeited the prize in question and SiriusXM Canada shall be entitled to select a new Winner from the qualified Finalists, who will be subject to disqualification in the same manner.
Where permitted by law, Finalists and the Winners grant to SiriusXM Canada, and those acting pursuant to its direction or control, (and agree to confirm such grant in writing upon request), the right to print, publish, broadcast and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the world wide web, at any time or times, their name, portrait, picture, video, voice, likeness and biographical information as news or information and for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without additional consideration and without notification, review or approval.
12. Rights in Registration and Action
If an entrant’s Registration and/or Action is determined by SiriusXM Canada, in its sole and absolute discretion, to have violated the Official Rules in a non-material and de minimus way and the Registration and/or Action can be edited to remove the violation, SiriusXM Canada may request the entrant to amend the Registration, or amend the Registration on the entrant’s behalf, instead of disqualifying the entrant.
In consideration of entrant’s Registration and/or any Action being reviewed and evaluated for this Contest, each entrant hereby grants to the SiriusXM Canada and their respective successors, assigns, licensees and designees (collectively, “Licensed Parties”) a non-exclusive, irrevocable, fully paid, universal license to use, copy, sublicense, transmit, distribute, publicly perform, publish, edit, delete or display such Registration and/or Action, or any portion thereof, including any names, likenesses or information embodied therein, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised including, but not limited to, all forms of television and all forms of internet and wireless protocol without limitation and without any further right of approval, notification or compensation. Each entrant authorizes Licensed Parties to utilize, for eternity and in any manner they see fit, the Registration and/or Action submitted to Sponsor and to make derivative works from such material. Each entrant agrees that the results and proceeds of such use shall become the property of the Licensed Parties, and shall be freely assignable by Licensed Parties and that the Released Parties shall have no obligations whatsoever to entrant. Licensed Parties are not obligated to use any of the above-mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at a Licensed Party’s sole discretion, without further obligation or compensation.
13. Publicity
In addition, by participating in the Contests, each entrant hereby grants permission for the Contest Parties and their respective designees to use entrant’s name, likeness, voice, quotes, comments, biographical information, and/or image for the purpose of advertising, trade, or promotion without further notice, permission, compensation or consideration in any and all media now known or hereafter developed, in any manner, throughout the universe, unless prohibited by law.
14. Laws/Jurisdiction
All federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations apply. Any Contest entries not complying with any applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws or regulations will be considered to be null and void. By participating in this Contest, the Entrant acknowledges that they have read the Rules and agreed to abide by their terms and by the decisions of SiriusXM Canada. All decisions of SiriusXM Canada are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest.
15. Important Information
In the case of entries received via the Internet, Entrants will be deemed to be the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted on the Registration Form at the time of registration. “Authorized account holder” is the natural person to whom an e-mail address is assigned by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) responsible for assigning individual e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. A Selected Entrant may be required to provide SiriusXM Canada with proof that the Selected Entrant is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.
16. Limitations of Liability
BY ENTERING, ENTRANTS ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT SIRIUSXM CANADA AND THE RELEASEES SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR, AND ENTRANTS SHALL HOLD THEM HARMLESS FROM, ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DAMAGES (INCLUDING COMPENSATORY, DIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES), LIABILITIES, COSTS AND EXPENSES (“LOSSES”) WITH RESPECT TO OR IN ANY WAY ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONTEST OR RELATED PRIZES. THE RELEASEES MAKE NO WARRANTY, GUARANTY OR REPRESENTATION OF ANY KIND CONCERNING ANY PRIZE AND DISCLAIM ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY. SIRIUSXM CANADA AND RELEASEES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSSES IN CONNECTION WITH (i) INCORRECT OR INACCURATE INFORMATION FOR ANY REASON, INCLUDING IF CAUSED BY WEBSITE USERS OR BY ANY OF THE EQUIPMENT OR PROGRAMMING ASSOCIATED WITH OR UTILIZED IN THE CONTEST OR BY ANY TECHNICAL OR HUMAN ERROR WHICH MAY OCCUR IN THE PROCESSING OF SUBMISSIONS for THE CONTEST, (ii) technical failure or malfunction OF ANY TELEPHONE NETWORKs, COMMUNICATIONS LINEs, COMPUTER ON-LINE SYSTEMS, SERVERS OR PROVIDERS, COMPUTER EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE, DATA TRANSMISSION OR E-MAIL services, traffic congestion, OR ANY other TECHNICAL disruptions, (iii) ERROR, OMISSION, INTERRUPTION, DELETION, DEFECTION, DELAY IN OPERATION OR TRANSMISSION, THEFT OR DESTRUCTION OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO, OR ALTERATION OF, ENTRIES OR (iv) DAMAGES TO ENTRANTS OR TO ANY OTHER PERSON, INCLUDING DAMAGES TO THEIR COMPUTER SYSTEM, RELATED TO OR RESULTING FROM ENTERING, PARTICIPATING OR DOWNLOADING MATERIALS for THIS CONTEST.
SIRIUSXM CANADA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST, LATE, INCOMPLETE, ILLEGIBLE, INCOMPREHENSIBLE OR MISDIRECTED ENTRIES, BUGS, server failure, HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE TRANSMISSION FAILURE OR LOSS, or DELAYED OR CORRUPTED DATA TRANSMISSION.
IF, FOR ANY REASON, THE CONTEST CANNOT RUN AS PLANNED OR THE PRIZES CANNOT BE AWARDED, INCLUDING BY REASON OF INFECTION BY COMPUTER VIRUS, BUGS, TAMPERING, UNAUTHORIZED INTERVENTION, FRAUD, TECHNICAL FAILURES, OR ANY OTHER CAUSEs BEYOND THE REASONABLE CONTROL OF SIRIUSXM CANADA WHICH CORRUPT OR AFFECT THE ADMINISTRATION, SECURITY, FAIRNESS, INTEGRITY OR PROPER CONDUCT OF THE CONTEST, SIRIUSXM CANADA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL, TERMINATE, MODIFY OR SUSPEND THE CONTEST AT ANY TIME WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE TO THE ENTRANTS. IN SUCH EVENT, NO ENTRANTS WILL BE SELECTED OR ELIGIBLE TO WIN ANY PRIZE AND WINNERS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED WITH A SUBSTITUTE PRIZE OR CASH EQUIVALENT.
17. Conduct
By entering the Contest, you agree to be bound by these Rules. Entrants who have not complied with these Rules are subject to disqualification. Entrants further agree to be bound by the decisions of SiriusXM Canada, which shall be final and binding in all respects. SiriusXM Canada reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be:
- Tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or website; or
- Acting in violation of the Rules. By entering, you agree to not knowingly:
a. interfere in or cause any interruption of the Contest;
b. prevent others from participating in the Contest; or
c. obtain or modify another user’s non-public account information without their consent. - Any use of automated devices is prohibited.
18. Release
Entrants release and agree to hold harmless each of SiriusXM Canada and its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates and/or related companies and each of their employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents, sponsors, administrators, licensees, representatives, advertising, media buying and promotional agencies (collectively, the “Releases”) from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense arising out of participation in the Contest, participation in any related activity or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any Prize, including but not limited to costs, injuries, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light, or from any and all claims of third parties arising therefrom; and (iv) grant to SiriusXM Canada the unrestricted right, in their discretion, to produce, reproduce, publish broadcast, communicate by telecommunication, exhibit, distribute, adapt, and otherwise use or re-use the Winner’s name, photograph, likeness, and biography, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, in connection with the Contest and the promotion and exploitation thereof. The Winner must provide the executed Release in order to collect the applicable Prize.

20. Contests Emails
By participating in the Contests, you agree to receive emails related to the Contests including, but not limited to, a registration confirmation email.
21. Language Discrepancy
In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English language version and the French language version of these Official Rules, as applicable, the English version shall prevail, govern and control.
22. General
Any additional interpretations of the Rules shall be at the sole discretion of SiriusXM Canada. SiriusXM Canada reserves the right to make the final decision in respect of any and all matters concerning the Contest, including, but not limited to the determination of Entrants, Finalists, voting eligibility and the Winners. All rulings are final.
SiriusXM Canada reserves the right to terminate, withdraw, amend or suspend the Contest (and/or any aspect thereof, including methods for selection of the Prize Winners), in whole or in part, at any time without notice and for any reason, without liability, at their sole discretion. In the event a substitute prize is awarded, such prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for cash or otherwise. All trademarks presented are owned by their respective owners.
23. Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tiktok
The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook, Twitter, Inc, Instagram or TikTok. The owners and operators of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok are completely released from all liability by each entrant in this Contest. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Contests must be directed to the SiriusXM Canada and not to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.
24. Eligibility
24.1 Registration
Subject to the conditions below, the Contest is open to legal residents of Canada and who are the age of majority or older at time of entry, participation in Actions or vote (collectively an “entrant” in the Contests).
24.2 Disqualification
By participating in this Contest, Entrants agree to be bound by these Rules and by the decisions of SiriusXM Canada which are final in all matters relating to this Contest and furthermore acknowledge compliance with these Rules. SiriusXM Canada reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant for any reason, including but not limited to inappropriate or disruptive behaviour, as determined in the sole and unfettered discretion of SiriusXM Canada. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. Employees, agents or representatives of SiriusXM Canada and the persons with whom they are domiciled are not eligible to enter. SiriusXM Canada reserves the right to make the final decision in respect of any and all Contest matters.
