Known for its friendliness and hospitality, and made famous by the Broadway musical Come from Away, Gander became a safe place to land when all North American airspace was closed on 9/11.

Gander residents and nearby communities came together to provide food, clothing, and comfort to strangers from all over the world who were away from their homes and families.

Although the town is the star of a Broadway musical, the community itself rarely gets the opportunity to enjoy live music events by well-known performers.

Winning SiriusXM Music Town would be a wonderful tribute to this welcoming and friendly town.
